Purpose of NursingBytes

I will change the perception of nursing.
An entirely new generation of Nurses is scattered across the Web, contributing amazing stories and insights from a world where they are expected to handle the worst problems of those they care for. They do it with grace and dignity. Through providing an ever-updating collection of links, I hope to highlight the good, the bad and the ugly of this time honored and very respected profession.
By searching them out I hope to create a space of trust, encouragement and, at times, outrage.
Regardless—let it never be said that Nurses blindly follow orders, or just change bedpans.
Absolutely! We are the true front runners of medicine. Medicine as we know it would come to a screeching halt without all of the great nurses and nurse practitioners who take care of patients every day.
